This project seeks to weave the house seamlessly into its wild Mediterranean surroundings, creating a landscape that feels as though it has always belonged there.
The design unfolds in two phases — first, crafting the immediate spaces around the home: a welcoming entrance, intimate patios, and a pool garden that balances beauty with discretion. Then, expanding outward into a broader vision for the land, transitioning from curated garden to olive grove, open meadow, and untamed nature.
Throughout, the approach prioritises privacy, ecological sensitivity, and low maintenance, with a planting palette rooted in native, drought-resilient species that restore the continuity of the landscape lost during construction. Every technical constraint, from fire access routes to electricity poles, is turned into a design opportunity rather than a compromise.
The result is a living space that invites you to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature.
