Meraki retreat center is a project that joins multiple functions in one place – the first objective is to receive groups for different activities and events, the second aspect is to be as maximum possible sustainable in terms of energy, food production, economically and culturally.

The challenge is in the terrain, shaped as a big amphy-theater, a large work of leveling, creating terraces in order to have flat spaces for food production and events and taking the maximum advantage of the terrain for efficient water management.

The project joins landscape architecture and permaculture tools in order to create a conscious approach toward the land and all the wishes of the owners for them to have a land guide in order to build the place at their own rhythm.
